Every weekend a batch of these bad boys gets baked at Sally’s place. They're a go-to that both kids and grownups love to snack on and hit the spot after any class as an energy pick-me-up.


500 grams of natural almonds

1/3 cup Tamari Sauce


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180C or 160C fan-forced. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.

Step 2

Place almonds on prepared tray. Drizzle over tamari and toss to coat. Arrange in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes, tossing every 5 minutes, or until tamari has evaporated.

Step 3

Cool on tray before storing it in an airtight container in a cool dark place.


These roasted nuts will last for up to 2 weeks.
