WONDER YOGA extends an invitation to you to join us in June 2025 at our bespoke Marrakech Retreat. Be immersed in the culture, dine on scrumptious local cuisine, visit the desert and expand your yoga practice on our 7 day/6 night luxury escape.

Our boutique hotel (riad) is located in the old medina of Marrakech and has a dedicated yoga studio and a rooftop terrace where we will practice together daily.

With your breath, body, and spirit for adventure join an exclusive group of like-minded travellers as we journey beyond ourselves.

Our standard double rooms are anything but ‘standard’. is With a queen bed, separate space for your clothes, and air conditioning there is space to relax and feel immersed in the quintessential Moroccan architecture and colourful interior decor. The bathroom is decorated with colourful mosaics and has a sink, toilet and a shower leaving this standard room feeling more like a luxurious suite. Room Narjiss is located on the ground floor while Room Kamar is on the first floor.

There are four spectacular superior double rooms all of which can either be configured as a king bed or two single beds for twin share accomodation. Generous in size and appointed with exceptional decor, each room has separate space for your clothes, a cozy Moroccan lounge and air conditioning. The bathroom is decorated with traditional Moroccan mosaics and has a sink, toilet and a shower. Rooms Sawsan and Tawlab are located on the ground floor of the riad while Rooms Shams and Ard are on the first floor.

SUPERIOR QUAD ROOM

QUAD SHARE PER PERSON $3250

This comfortable and incredibly spacious room has four single beds on two mezzanine floors, Room Jasmine is on the ground floor and also has a beautifully appointed separate lounge for relaxing, a shower, toilet, and air conditioning. Be inspired by the striking design and eye for detail thorugh lush natural textiles and a striking black and white theme. Ideal for friends traveling together up to 4 people.

YOUR 'TYPICAL' RETREAT DAY

WHAT A DAY MIGHT LOOK LIKE ON RETREAT BASED FROM THE INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED ‘BE MARRAKECH’ RIAD

Our exquisite accomodation is a traditional riad with a central courtyard that houses a plunge pool.

We might begin our days with a morning meditation and yoga practice on the rooftop terrace before sitting down to a nourishing breakfast perpared by our personal chef and that includes the sweet mint tea that Morocco is renowned for.

Mid-morning we venture into the labrynth of markets and cultural centre of Mararakech with expert guidence from a local guide who will help us unlock the mystical side of Marakkech.

Late afternoon as the sun begins to fade we come togehter as a group to practice in the cool of the yoga shala where the class might be a restorative based yin class or a dynamic vinyasa flow.

Dinner is a shared feast of flavours, spices and the chance to immerse our senses in the fragrant cuisine Mororrco is famous for.

As the saying goes, in Marrakech, you don’t get lost– you find yourself.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

All participants must have adequate travel insurance
which covers all activities, medical emergencies, lost baggage, baggage or flight delay, and trip cancellation. We recommend you take out travel insurance upon the booking of this retreat

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any cancellations prior to 1 March 2025 – $500 non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations from 1 March – 1 May – 50% refund of the total retreat price
No refunds for any cancellations after May 1 2025.
If we cannot proceed with the retreat due to government- mandated travel regulations we will refund you all costs less a $150 administration charge to cover our costs.

FAQ

Do I need a visa for Morocco

When travelling on an Australian passport you don’t need a visa if you’re travelling to Morocco for less than 3 months. Entry and exit conditions can change at short notice.

Different nationality? Check your travel requirements to visit Bali.

I have specual dietary needs. Can this be accomodated?

Yes, we can accomodate: vegetarian, vegan, most allergies and gluten free requirements.

Can I come solo? Also, can I book with friends?

Absolutely you can come solo with us. We’ve had many participants on our retreats love the adventure of ‘me time’. Want a roomie to reduce costs? We’ll match up your accomodation and pair you with a like-minded soul. Want to travel in a group. Let us know and we can ensure you are hooked up together in our spacious quad room.

Do I need to have a regular yoga practice to participate?

Short answer is no! Longer answer; if you want to get the most out of our week together it would be benefifial to take some classes with us. Let us know what you need and we’ll set up a membership for you.

Are flights included in the pricing?

No, flight costs are the responsibiity of each individual.

How do I get to our accomodation from the airport?

Check in is from 3 pm on the first day of the retreat. If you are coming from the airport which is only 15 minutes away, or another location there are a range of easily accessible driver services throuhout Morocco that are safe and reliable. For the adventurous… the rail system in Morocco is excellent.

What if I need to cancel?

Please refer to our cancellation policy. We highly recommend, upon booking your reservation with WONDER, that you take our travel insurance.
