Booking Faqs

Do I need to book?

We recommend booking ahead of time. It’s a commitment to yourself. Our app conveniently allows you to sync your class booking to your calendar so your yoga and exercise classes become healthy habits. You are welcome to show up to a class without booking, but we can not guarantee there will be a place available.

Do I need to arrive early for class?

Our doors open 15 minutes before class starts. First-time students, give yourself a chance to arrive a good ten minutes early. We look forward to showing you around and making you feel welcome. Our classes always start on time and our doors are locked so, unfortunately, late arrivals will not be able to enter.

How far ahead can I book?

Our classes are available to book up to 14 days in advance.

I’ve booked my first class and now I can’t book anything else. What happened?

When you purchase an Intro Offer, to begin with, you need to book your classes in consecutively. To prevent this software glitch please book your first class as close as is possible to the current date. From there you can book in the rest of your classes in any order you like. If this has happened to you the simple solution is to cancel any class you’ve added to your schedule and then rebook them starting with the closest date first.

How does the class waitlist work?

See a class you like and it’s full? No worries, you can add yourself to our waitlist. When you are booking via the app you can also see how close you are to being added to the class.

To be notified if a place becomes available in class ensure you are subscribed to class email and SMS notifications. You can check this in the account settings section on your app.

If you are offered a spot in the class you will receive an email and/or an SMS to confirm you have been added into the class.

You will not be added to the class later than 9 hours out from the scheduled start time.

For classes before 9 am simply text back Y or N prior to the 9-hour cut-off.

For classes after 9 am simply text back Y or N prior to the 3-hour cut-off

If you DO NOT reply to your place in the class, MindBody assumes you are attending and our normal T&Cs apply with cancellations and No Shows.

If you cancel prior to 9 hours for classes before 9 am and 3 hours for classes after 9 am, you will NOT be charged any fees for declining attendance in the class.
Any cancellations after the cut-off time for classes or non-attendance of the class will count as a late-cancel/no-show.

If you have multiple unconfirmed waitlist notifications, your reply applies to the most recently received message.

Occasionally, classes that are ‘waitlisted’ will have places become available close to the class start time. This is due to some students having to ‘late cancel’. A late cancellation will not bump a waitlisted person up into the class. If you see a spot become available within the closed window of booking you are welcome to add yourself to class even if you are on the locked waitlist class. Our normal booking T&Cs apply should you do this.

CLASS CANCELLATION FAQs

How do I cancel a class?

Cancellations must be made via our app or website and cannot be made via any social media platform, text, email, or phone. By booking your class online you agree to our Late Cancel and No Show policy.

Class Cancellation and No Show Policies

Early morning classes (prior to 9 am) have a cancellation window of 9 hours. Classes after 9 am have a cancellation window of 3 hours. This allows students who are waitlisted ample time to accept or reject their booking. Research shows that planning ahead and making a commitment to exercise keeps us accountable and policies like this stop members from making unnecessary last-minute cancellations.

What If I cancel a class outside of the policy times?

If you cancel a class outside of our booking window there is no consequence, but what this does is allow people on the waitlist to move into the class with plenty of notice.

What if I cancel a class inside of the policy times?

If you cancel a class within the booking window your cancellation is recorded as a ‘late cancel’ and our fee policy will apply. We understand that life gets in the way which is why every 30 days we will waive a late cancel or no show fee for those on our unlimited memberships (calculated on a 30 day rolling period. After that, charges will apply unless advised otherwise.

What are the fees for a late cancellation or a no-show?

A no-show fee is $15. A late cancellation fee is $10. Fees are deducted approximately 48 hours after your booked class.

VISITING THE STUDIO FAQs

Why are your classes heated?

Our classes are practiced in a temperature-controlled studio space to assist with warming our bodies. Muscles enjoy moving when warm. The heat also elevates your heart rate adding a cardio aspect to your class which creates a well-balanced experience that also incorporates strength and flexibility.

A regular hot class will see your skin become clearer and smoother, your eyes brighter, and your concentration and mental clarity greater.

We use different levels of heat for each class. You can get to know our classes in more detail on our class styles page.

What do I need to bring?

A yoga mat and a drink bottle are your must-haves. But, no worries if you forget; we have bottled water for sale and hire mats. For our warmer classes, you’ll probably want a hand towel. We provide all the equipment and props you’ll need for class but you are welcome to bring your own. You can check out our class styles page for more information on each class and what you’ll need.

How should I prepare for class?

We recommend drinking plenty of water prior to class and advise you not to eat a heavy meal before you arrive. We promise- you’ll thank us for this tip.

Advise your teacher if you have any injuries before class. Never work into pain. Always stay in your comfort zone.

Wear or bring clothes that are comfortable and you can sweat in. Loose baggy clothes don’t work in our heated classes but are perfect for Yin classes.

If you need to hire a mat or towel we can help out. We also have an alkaline drinking fountain and sell bottled water at our front desk.

If you have any additional questions about the class please ask at our front desk staff or talk to the teacher beforehand. You can also contact us here.

Which class is right for me?

Truthfully, if you are willing to learn as you go, all our classes are suitable for the majority of people. Our expertly sequenced classes are suitable for all levels and our equally expert instructors will encourage you to modify to your ability, never go into pain, and work in a way that suits you. If you’re still struggling to decide where to start, here are some rough guidelines:

  • If you’re beginning at the very start, want to refine your technique, or slow things down try our 101 class. It will provide you with a selection of poses that are foundational, with a focus on moving safely and having fun. As long as you can get up and down off the floor, we’ve got you covered.
  • If you’re stiff and want to target your flexibility only then Yin is your go-to.
  • If you want to build your strength and tone your body plus enjoy a little taste of yoga, then Sculpt will target all these areas.
  • Looking to refine and define your body, feel happy, and move with joy? Barre and Cardio Barre are your must-haves.
  • Feeling generally well and healthy? Come explore Flow as we dive deep into the art of breath to movement and enjoy getting sweaty.
  • If you want to sweat, build focus, and get strong book a Warrior class.
  • If you are looking for something accessible with lots of options with a focus of breathing, slow and purposeful movement, and a gentler pace, consider Gentle Flow.
Can I practice while pregnant?

Sure. But we do ask that you speak to your health team to decide if the level of activity you are considering is right for you. We also ask that you have been undertaking a similar exercise program either with us or at a similar studio for at least 3 months prior to your pregnancy. You must advise us of your pregnancy and work with the modifications offered as your pregnancy progresses.

How old do I need to be to attend?

We accept students into the studio aged 15 years and over. If you are under 16 you must attend with a parent or guardian. Between the ages of 16 and 18 parents or guardians must sign the client waiver form on your behalf.
